Their goaltending is the only thing holding them back right now, but if they commit to a better team defense, they will be able to limit the opposing teams high-danger scoring chances. They are the fourth highest scoring team in the NHL, with 3.50 goals for per game.
The Red Wings have a much deeper group of forwards than the Flyers and I do believe they are a playoff hockey team if they can begin to figure things out. Hosting the Flyers should provide them with a good chance to get back in the win column. Despite their poor play as of late, the Red Wings only sit four points out of a playoff spot.
